End of the month? Send in those expired coupons!

As we go into a new month, be sure to check out the reset & new coupons on your favorite coupons sites- coupons.com, smartsource.com, & redplum.com. While you are at it- be sure to sort through your coupons in your coupon file & pull out the expired coupons to send to our adopted military base in Germany. Below are more details about the program and you can click on the “OPERATION: COUPONS” logo for more details about the base we have adopted.

The Bargain Buggy & Eastern Shore Mom have adopted the Spangdahlem, Germany-US Air Force Base. This is the base where The Bargain Buggy’s dear friend and her family are stationed. Please join us in this effort and mail your expired coupons to the address below.

Guidelines for Mailing Expired Coupons:

* Manufacturer coupons only.

* Do not send coupons that are more than 2 months expired.

* Sort coupon into “Food” and “Non Food”. Place the divided coupon bundles in bags or envelopes so they do not get mixed up when shipping. Do NOT use rubber bands or paper clips (they come undone). Label the bag/envelope “Food” or “Non Food”. You are now ready to package and ship.

*The cheapest way to mail the coupons is parcel post. You are mailing to a U.S. address so the shipping rates are the same. Due to the amount of travel time do not send coupons that are more than 2 months past the expiration date using parcel post.
The quickest way to ship coupons is priority mail. The post office has a standard envelope that has a flat shipping fee if you pick this method.

November All You Magazine

You all see me reference All You magazine a lot, especially when I am writing store coupon matchups. That is because All You magazine is the best magazine to find high dollar, very useful coupons. All You is out out by People and Walmart- it offers great recipes, articles, and crafts on top of the fabulous coupons!

The upcoming November issue of All You magazine will have $49.57 in coupons, which is substantially less than theu typically have. However, don’t let that small number fool you, their are some GREAT coupons hiding in this upcoming mag and I will be snagging myself four for my coupon stash.

Why Buy Different Newspapers?

It is always confusing to people why the deal bloggers always say to buy more than one paper and, if you can, buy a paper from a bigger city like Atlanta or others. The closest big city to my area is Pensacola, FL. Many would think that since Pensacola and Mobile are comparable in size, the coupons would not be very different. However, that is not so! Pensacola receives many coupons that Mobile doesn’t simply because we have different stores.
