Friday Frugal Tip: Saving on Laundry
Want to know how to make that laundry detergent last twice as long and work twice as hard? Add a 1/2 cup of Arm & Hammer!
When trying to remember all of the uses for Arm & Hammer PLUS the amount to add, first remember it is always 1/2 a cup.
Here is the different things the Arm & Hammer does in your laundry:
- Deodorizes: Add 1/2 a cup during the rinse cycle to deodorize your clothes.
- Cleans Tough Stains: Add 1/2 a cup to your liquid laundry detergent to give it more cleaning power.
- Boost Bleach: Instead of using 1 cup bleach, use 1/2 cup Arm & Hammer and 1/2 cup Bleach to give your bleach a boost.
- Gentle enough for Babies: Use Arm & Hammer to deodorize and stain remove baby clothes with no worries about chemicals on newborn skin. :)
Arm & Hammer runs about $2 (large size) in the store, so while it works wonders it is also friendly on the wallet!
