Where is the Clearance?
Ever wondered where a store keeps their clearance sections? If you are like me, that is the FIRST place I head when entering a store to shop. All the stores hide them in different places, so what if someone TYPED OUT exactly where the clearance sections are at your favorite stores for you? How awesome would that be?
CLEARANCE SECTION MAPS
CVS- Back of the store or on the ends of the aisles
Office Depot- Back of the store on a table or ends of the aisles in the back
Staples- On the ends of the aisles in the back of the store
Target- Ends of the Aisles (End Caps) or around the perimeter of the store
Walgreens- Back of the store on the ends of the aisles, or in a special section in the middle of the store for clearance
Walmart- In the “Seasonal Section” aisles
Do you see a trend here? “THE BACK OF THE STORE” is where most all retailers choose to put their clearance section. Why? Because this forces the shopper to have to pass lots of full price merchandise before they hit the clearance deals then you have to walk pass all the full price merchandise again to pay for your items. Pretty sneaky if you ask me. However, clearance sections are my favorite to shop and it’s ok with me that they are usually hidden, just means more deals for me!
