I just booked our December Disney trip for $933 smackaroos!

Trip includes:

2 Adults, 1 Child (age 3)

4 days/5 nights Disney All Star Movie Resort

Magic Your Way Plus Dining (One Quick Service, One Snack, One Sit Down Meal)

Magic Your way Base Park Tickets

TOTAL= $933

I was SHOCKED! I have quoted the trip online, using the exact same guidelines as listed above, and the price came out to $1157.00. When going to press “book your trip” I saw the customer service number. Being the frugalista I am, I called to see if there were any more deals that could be offered to widdle down the price a bit. My goal all along has been our dream Disney trip for under $1,000.

When I called, it took about 5 minutes to get a rep and he told me that since I was already doing the FREE dining package (when you book a vacation for 4 days/5 nights, select dates available) I could not combine any more offers. He told me since I was already on the phone, he would be happy to book my reservation for me. What awesome customer service! When he put in all of the information, out of his mouth came the total “$933″. I told him he must have something wrong, so we repeated the reservation back to each other about FIVE times before I believed him. I WAS SHOCKED! There was about a $200+ difference in booking online rather than booking on the phone, which he assured me never happens. However, this time it did and it happened to me!

Before we got off the phone, I asked he send me all of the free planning information he could. He assured me my package is on it’s way- I can’t wait to see what I get!

So always remember this FRUGALISTA’S tip: Before you book online, TALK TO A REAL PERSON! Never trust the computer screen, a live human being is always the best way to go.
