This brought back to memory a post I did a while back about discount Disney ideas. With Disney season coming up quick, use the free dinning option and the tips below to help you get a little money back from the mouse!
Last night, I took to the Eastern Shore Mom Facebook page to ask all of you how you do Disney discounted!
Here was the reader inspired question straight from the ESM inbox:
My family (2 adults, 4 kids) are planning on going to Disney April 2010. I wanted to know if you knew of any great websites or places to get to best deals. Please let me know if you have used or heard of any particular sites that are good to search.
Susann’s question hit home for me because my family is also planning a trip to Disney after the first of the year. I have been to Disney plenty of times but not yet as a family so I wanted to know how all of YOU get the good deals at Disney World. Here were the responses:
- AAA (Triple A)- Learn more about the AAA Travel Discounts HERE. - Leslie
- Best websites in the world to find discount info: www.disboards.com, www.wdwinfo.com, www.mousesavers.com and www.allears.net. Disney is offering Free Dining right now through end of Fall! They are also offering a room discount only that is pretty nice! If you sign up on the Disney website for the planning DVD, sometimes they will email you special “pin codes” that you can use to get discounts. Don’t ever delete an email from Disney without reading it all! Some even get these codes in the mail. I would suggest signing up all of your family members individually as well as each email you have…increases your chances for discounts! And another great way to get discounts is by getting the Disney Visa! Disney Visa members will often times get package discounts before the general public giving them the pick of hotels plus some other great perks!! And if you use your Disney Visa, you can accrue $1 Disney dollar for every $100 dollars you use! -Leigh
- MouseSavers.com is the best! - Kristin
- A friend suggested Small World Vacations to us–they are an authorized Disney planner and they helped us get a great deal 2 years ago. -Sueann
I hope this helps out any of you who are planning a Disney vacation! Disney World can be expensive but if you bargain shop it can be a surprisingly good deal. Get your Disney vacation planning DVD HERE.
