Fairhope Publix Policy Changes 2/20
Feb 20
Just to make you aware- the Fairhope Publix will no longer be copying their Green or Yellow Advantage flyers to allow you to use more than one of the coupons. They now have plenty of the booklets behind the customer service counter so be sure to ask for one or two if you need more than one of the coupons inside of them.
Other things to remember:
- Requesting rain checks when the product is still on the shelf is stealing. Publix loses money when they write a raincheck that is why they work so hard to keep their store stocked. There are times when they are out of product (right now they are out of a few things) and then it is ok to get a raincheck.
- Overage (using a coupon that is a higher value than the product is priced) is a touchy subject. However, using coupons on trial size items that are not intended for trial size (i.e. say “not for trial size”) and getting overage is not allowed.
- Sneaking coupons in your pile that are not for the products you are buying in just.plain.wrong. Stores are getting smart and catching this kind of coupon fraud. How embarrassing would it be to get caught?
- Copying coupons is another way to get into a lot of trouble while couponing. IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE to copy coupons. Don’t do it. It is not worth it.
Things that are A OK:
- Using (1) store and (1) manufacturer coupon on 1 item, which is called a “stack”. When it is a B1G1 sale you can use 1 stack per item.
- Walgreens Register Rewards are accepted at the Fairhope Publix, since they consider them manufacturer coupons. You can use as many as you have as long as they are within date.
- The competitor coupons they accept are Target, Walgreens, CVS (but no Extra Care Bucks), & Winn Dixie.
