Here is a list of ESM’s abbreviations when it comes to couponing:

    SS- Smart Source
    RP- Red Plum
PRINTABLE- Link to the printable coupon
    Clipped- Sunday Paper Clipped
RR- Register Rewards- coupons that print after your receipt from Walgreens that are good towards your NEXT purchase
ECB- Extra Care Bucks- coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt at CVS that are good towards your NEXT purchase.
    B1G1- Buy One Get One
Stack- when you combine a store coupon (like Target) with a manufacturer coupon (like a printed or clipped coupon) to save more money!
    OOP- Out Of Pocket
    @- at

Coupon matchups confusing? Look at the diagram below to help you better understand.

One thing is special about Eastern Shore Mom’s coupon matchups & shopping lists: the final total is always what you will be paying out of your pocket (plus tax). I never slim-down my total with hidden rebates or subtract my Walgreen’s RR’s or CVS ECB’s. It is important to me that I save money right then, not later. So I try to keep my totals as small as possible instead of buying as much as I can and waiting 6-8 weeks on the rebate. While I think rebates are helpful, I will only do them if they are for the products I am already buying.

RR’s & ECB’s are good towards my next purchase. Yes, I do use them instatly by seperating into multiple transactions but I will tell you & show you when I do so. That way you can do the same! If I have RR’s or ECB’s left over at the end (for my next purchase), I will tell you how many I have left NOT subract them from the total I spent out of pocket. That way you know exactly how much you are going to spend if you duplicate my trip!

“I Can’t PRINT!” Bricks Coupon Printing HELP:

Many, many e-mails each day come in with the problem of not being able to print “brick” coupons (you will notice these say “brick” in the address bar). The brick coupons address in the address bar is a little different for which browser you are running.

FireFox- FireFox (commonly abbreviated “FF”) is a secure browser that many people like because it has more add-on features than Internet Explorer. You can download FireFox by Mozilla HERE for FREE.
This is what the FireFox Bricks coupon address looks like:

    http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfswdye85247335&bt=wg&o=57060&c=KS&p=X0Wxi1ym

The highlighted code is what makes this print for FireFox. If there is anything other than WG or VG it will not print in the FF browser. You can replace the 2 letters that are there with WG or VG and make the address work in the FF browser.

Internet Explorer- Commonly abbreviated “IE” this is the browser that comes stock on your Windows enabled computer. I recommend using IE when printing coupons from SmartSource & Coupons.com. These seem to print better from IE than FireFox.
This is what the Internet Explorer coupon address looks like:

    http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfswdye85247335&bt=wi&o=57060&c=KS&p=X0Wxi1ym

The highlighted code is also what makes this print for Internet Explorer. There are 2 codes that work when trying to get a brick address to print from IE, WI & VI. Use these codes to modify the address if you cannot print a bricks coupon from Internet Explorer.

Safari- Safari is the browser that comes with your Apple computer.
This is what the Safari coupon address looks like:

    http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfswdye85247335&bt=XS&o=57060&c=KS&p=X0Wxi1ym

XS is the only code that makes a bricks coupon print on the Safari browser. Change the address to include the XS letters and it will allow you to print successfully from this browser.

I hope this helps. I’ll add that just because your are printing it on another browser does not mean that you can hit “print limit” on one browser and still be able to print on another. The “PRINT LIMIT REACHED” is for your computer, not the browser.
