FREE Young Living Premium Starter Kit: Whole Month of July

get it free

You heard me right! Anyone who orders their premium starter kit through Young Living Essential oils with ESM during the month of July is ENTERED TO WIN THEIRS FOR FREE! On August 1st, I will throw the names in the hat and video the winner being picked. IT COULD BE YOU! So if you have been on the fence about ordering your kit, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT. You won’t regret it. And if you do, well I will treat you to lunch or something. But there is no one that I personally know that has not fallen absolutely mad in love with this stuff! It’s not one of those gimmicks or a face cream you’ll use for a week and stop, these oils CHANGE YOUR LIFE. I promise!

So what all comes in this kit?

{Premium Starter Kit}

When starting out with Young Living essential oils, I suggest to order the Premium Starter Kit. It is an amazing deal. Retail value is $281, but it only costs $150!

The kit comes with:

  • The Everyday Oils Collection (used to include 9, but in October they upped it to 10 5mL bottles of oil)
  • Bonus bottle of StressAway oil & a roller ball top
  • A Home diffuser (this is everyone’s favorite item)
  • Samples of Peace & Calming, Lavender, Thieves & Peppermint to share with your friends
  • Samples of NingXia Red juice by Young Living
  • And membership access to a 24% discount for a whole year!

What is a “Membership Access”? It’s basically your “Sams” or “Costco” membership for oils! The membership access allows you to purchase oils on your own directly from the Young Living website at the wholesale discount of 24% and receive reduced shipping. The only commitment is that you order $50 in products each calendar year. If you don’t meet this $50 requirement, then Young Living will simply cancel your membership – no harm, no commitment, no cost to you at all. It is like a wholesale membership like Sam’s Club where you pay a membership fee and then have access to wholesale prices. You are welcome to buy oils for others and pass on your discount if you’d like (that’s what I do) to help meet the $50/yr requirement. But also, you are NOT obligated to sell or even share these oils with anyone.

The 5 mL bottles will contain about 80-90 drops each and include some of the more pricey oils (like Frankincense and PanAway) so you can give them a try in an inexpensive way. The diffuser alone has a wholesale cost of $80, so the kit is a really great value. See the link below for info on the kit and there is another link on that page to the Everyday Oils Booklet,which will tell you more detail about oils and the 10 included in this collection.

{How do I Order}

I have made it so simple for you guys. Go to THIS LINK right here, click on Become a Member, and WHALA! BAM! TADA! You are there and it gives you step by step sign up instructions. I will get an email for everyone that signs up, and that will enter you to win yours for FREE!

HashtagObsessed

Obsessed

What are YOU obsessed with? Let’s see, there are many things that I can think of when I type that word:

God
My Husband
Our Family
Living Healthy/Essential Oils
Disney
Work
Making my bed (Totally OCD)
TJ Maxx (being honest)
Praying

#Obsessed. My kids would say addicted, and then Cayden (our 7 year old) would pipe in “you aren’t supposed to be addicted to something” That’s right son, you aren’t. But what about being #obsessed?

In my list above I am very honest, there are materialistic things I think are just as cool as sliced bread! But when we take out those things, those things that won’t matter when we are all called to the Heavens. When the trumpet sounds, will I be lifted to the nearest TJ Maxx? Will I be judged on how many times my family & I visited Disney World? Or will I be thankful that I was #obsessed with living a life that is pleasing to God?

Priority, #obsessed lists are A MUST in our house. They have to be, there is just too many people and too much to do and too much work to be done to not have a revolving to-do list with a priority scale. How does my scale rank, well let me just show you:

God
My Husband
My Children
Work
Hobbies & Interests/Friendships

Knowing I am being silently scrutinized by y’all out there for listing my husband before my children, let me quickly tell you- that is the way it is and will always be. God gave me my spouse for a lifetime, and I am to honor and respect him as the head of our household and my leader. Hitting the back button to our story, many of you know that my husband recently became a stay-at-home Dad/helper to me with our family business. So does that make me the bread winner of our house? No way Jose! Because everything that I do, I do it with the help of my husband so without him there would be nothing. He is the one God intended for me to marry to come together and make our lives a whole. One day, a LONG LONG LONG LONG (LONG) time from now, our kids will grow up. It will just be Nick & I all alone. If I chose to pick our kids over him while raising them, what would happen to our relationship? When the kids all grew up and left, what would it be like?

The no-expert at marriage I am, that is the one thing I am certain makes a good marriage. Our partnership. Our loyalty to one another.  I am #obsessed with my husband, and I will be until the end of our days.

Link to Article on Blogher

I recently read an article about Mommy Clicks (or cliques, but I am from South Alabama and I spell it the RIGHT way). You know- those groups of moms that do everything together? Playdates, lunch dates, pedicure dates, vacations as a family together, pre-planned activities as a group for the next 3 years? The cool crowd of moms, where the husbands were all friends and you each would take turns carpooling your kids to your preschool each week. In the article, the woman was longing to be a part of one, going as far as to seek them out on online groups and trying several out before picking one, talk about being #obsessed!? Some moms searching for these groups refer to the process as “dating” each other, casual convos turn into lunch dates that, if they go successfully, turn into an invite to the next group outing and WHALA you.are.in!

In thinking of this, and marveling for a second in the glamorous thought of life (really more just help of having someone carpool for you) I took a glance at my priority, #obsessed list again:

God
My Husband
My Children
Work
Hobbies & Interests/Friendships

Ouch. Those women wouldn’t want me in the group if they realized they came in 5th-really 6th- down the line. The fact is, that isn’t a priority to me. To some of you, you are thinking that your Mommy Click is your one of your #obsessed and something that’s irreplaceable to you. It is all in the person, and all in the #obsessed list. Some of my friends know me, know where they fall on my list, and I happen to fall in about the same place on theirs. We understand our priorities and that every 3 weeks weeks when we finally get around to texting to make sure one another is still kicking, there is no need to ask why we haven’t spoken or done lunch or had a playdate. We get it. We are friends, but our #obsessed lists are full of our families and our faith.

Funny how those lists change as you start to grow older, have children, have more children, then have more children (what can I say, we REALLY understood God when He said “Be Fruitful and Multiply”). Your #obsessed items start falling into the place that God wanted them all along, and suddenly that blog post hobby that you needed to write really loved falls second to reading with your kids or spending time in prayer that night.

I can still remember to this day the first time I read Proverbs 31:10. It was NOT as a teenager, even though now I wish it would have been. It was as I laid my 1 month old son down to sleep wondering how in the world my life was going to look tomorrow. With my bed calling my name, it was going to be a short nap for me because the 12am feeding would come soon. But instead I flipped on the iPad and saw that day’s bible lesson on my app (no clue which app it was back then, I am a bit of an app floosey)

Proverbs 31:10
Who can find a good wife? For she is worth far more than rubies that make one rich.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will never stop getting good things.

12 She does him good and not bad all the days of her life.
13 She looks for wool and flax, and works with willing hands.
14 She is like ships that trade. She brings her food from far away.
15 She rises while it is still night and makes food for all those in her house. She gives work for the young women to do.
16 She gives careful thought to a field and buys it. She plants grape-vines from what she has earned.
17 She makes herself ready with strength, and makes her arms strong.
18 She sees that what she has earned is good. Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She puts her hands to the wheel to make cloth.
20 She opens her hand to the poor, and holds out her hands to those in need.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for those in her house, for all of them are dressed in red.
22 She makes coverings for herself. Her clothes are linen cloth and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the leaders of the land.
24 She makes linen clothes and sells them. She brings belts to those who trade.
25 Her clothes are strength and honor. She is full of joy about the future.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom. The teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of those in her house, and does not eat the bread of doing nothing.
28 Her children rise up and honor her. Her husband does also, and he praises her, saying:
29 “Many daughters have done well, but you have done better than all of them.”
30 Pleasing ways lie and beauty comes to nothing, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.
31 Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.

That night I vowed to live each day of my life remembering that THAT is the woman God has called me to be. Maybe not the making my own clothes and selling them at the market part, but all the other stuff it says.

{Who can find a good wife? For she is worth far more than rubies that make one rich}

{She is clothed in strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future}

{Her children honor her and her husband sings her praises}

{A woman who fears the Lord will be praised}

Have I been perfect each day since then? Heck to the no! Have I tried to be that woman? Heck to the yes! But we are all sinners. We will all have faults. We will all fall down in life. We will all spend WAY TOO MUCH MONEY AT TJ MAXX! But it’s that guilty feeling you get when you spend WAY TOO MUCH MONEY AT TJ MAXX that you could’ve instead given that money to your church, donated to mission work, or helped a homeless person rather than stretch your maxinista muscles and redecorate your living room in one HGTV worthy overhaul. That feeling that you get when you’ve done wrong and you know better, that feeling mean you are trying! You are human! You are a Christian! You are #obsessed with our Lord Jesus Christ and that #obsessed line item comes before any other.

This article has been several weeks in the making, and came together really odd for me typing it all out. But when things come out odd to me, that usually means that’s the way God wanted them. See, God knows my heart. He knows how OCD and #obsessed I am about writing in a format that makes sense to me and flows PERFECTLY PRETTY. But not everything God wants us to say is perfect and pretty, he just wants us to be #obsessed with Him and His word and what He has laid on our hearts to share.

So what is your priority, #obsessed list? Don’t leave me hanging on this tree by myself, join the conversation at the ESM Facebook page or in the comments below. Heck- share this post and use the #obsessed to share your list on your wall! You never know which of your friends on your list may need to read this today.

We Love Disney {Favorite Eats}

WeLoveDisney

Where did we leave off? Oh yeah, I HEART MY TRAVEL AGENT. Guys, really that post is a must read because that is the FIRST step in my planning Disney. How often do you plan Disney, you may ask? We do an annual trip every year with our kids and pull out all the stops like staying on property, fun souvenirs, shows, and (you guessed it) DISNEY DINING!

Honest to you, eating in Disney is my favorite. I swear I wear my Joey-from-Friends stretchy pants and expect to live the following month in the local gym because I enjoy eating while there so much. We are such foodies, my family & I. My husband picks with me that as soon as we are through with one meal, I am already planning the next. So Disney is the perfect place for us to indulge because I get to plan and research all the fun, good food they have to offer and plan our trip accordingly around each meal of the day.

How do we afford all the dining? FREE DISNEY DINING

free-disney-dining-plan

Look here, some people say it’s a scam and that the price is built in or whatever but every time I price it with free dining OH MY WORD there is a whole bunch of savings there! So I wait until FREE dining is on an offer (or my sweet travel agent adds it to our existing reservation when it’s released) and we SAVE THAT CASH! When you have 6 mouths to feed on a vacation, every penny counts right!? Free dining it is, saves me from packing a bunch of sandwiches each morning of our vacation plus we get to eat OH SO GOOD food that someone else has to do the dishes for. It is vacation, after all!

So what are our favorite places to eat at Disney World? Mmmmmm I am SO glad you asked!

The Wave (The Contemporary Bottom Floor)

Y’all. Shut your mouth good food! We actually ended up eating here by mistake on a girls Disney trip a few years ago and I have booked this one on our schedule ever since. We ate Christmas Dinner here last year during our Holiday trip to Disney. It’s such good food, fresh & local. They have a great selection of seafood, vegetables, & meats. Nothing we have eaten we have ever been disappointed in. Top Pick!

Mama Melrose (Hollywood Studios)

O boy! I hope you like Italian food because the portions are HUGE here! We could have all shared one lasagne, much less a full 3 course meal as the dining plan offers. We all ended up taking Doggy Bags & our desserts to go because no one could fit another bite into their stuffed bellies! The ambiance is good as well, like all Disney restaurants to service is incredible. It is one not on a lot of people’s radars so easy to get last minute reservations.

Hollywood & Vine (Hollywood Studios)

Surprisingly this restaurant has not so great reviews. We ended up here after plans went array  on our December Disney trip but I am so glad we did. We aren’t crazy about buffet style, for various reasons, so I was kind of leaning towards not even eating at all. But to my SHOCK the food was incredible! They have a lobster Mac-n-Cheese that we wrote home about (really- we wrote home!) and the fish & meat selection was cooked with amazing seasoning. Not bland at all like a lot of buffets! The dessert bar was of course a crowd favorite, we all had dunked marshmallows and fruits from the chocolate fountain (side note: the servers dunk it for you for health reasons-boo). Now they also have a Hollywood & Vine Star Wars character meal for 2 table service credits! Put this one on your short list for sure.

Sunshine Seasons (Epcot)

This quick service option is MY FAVORITE PICK for Epcot. Gosh, they have all sorts of different foods to choose from like Chinese (my favorite) and even a huge rotisserie style chicken leg! Options from all different types of cuisines, we really enjoy eating at this one after we ride Living with the Land & Soarin’

Wolf Gang Puck Express (Downtown Disney)

Another quick service favorite pick, we choose to eat at this one on our “shopping night”. After we let the kids go grab spend their money they’ve earned (more about that later) we relax and have a great meal at Wolfe Gang Puck Express. They have all sorts of options from sandwiches to salmon to pizzas, you can even choose to sit at the butcher block table by the kitchen to watch them cook! Such a cool place and a great value for just 1 quick service credit!

Tutto Italia Ristorante (Epcot)

Can you tell we like Italian food? Ha! This is another great one, and is voted “best value” to use on the dining plan because it’s entrees average about $36 but it is only 1 table service credit! The food here is incredible. Traditional Italian food, nothing we have eaten has been bad but we are especially fond of the lobster & cheese ravioli and the lasagne is also awesome. Just make sure you top off dinner with their Tiramisu or a Cannoli. Yum!

Honorable Mentions Include:

Chef Mickey (Contemporary)- We LOVE the characters and the atmosphere here, hard to get a reservation though.
Akershus (Epcot)- The food is a little odd, but the buffet of meats, seafood, and cheeses as your appetizer will fill you up! Plus the Princesses are always a pleasure to dine with.
1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian)- This is our FAVORITE breakfast so far, just a good down home southern cooked breakfast with made to order omelets, grits, and bananas foster french toast! The seating here isn’t that great and it’s hard to get good pictures with the characters which is why it makes the HM list.
Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)- Options here are plentiful for breakfast, which is the only meal we have had here. The juice is awesome! Here is a secret for those that have had this juice and love it: you can buy it at the store! It’s Simply Orange with Mango, our local Publix carries it.

So what restaurants are on our list to try on our upcoming trip? I am going a little rogue and trying lots of restaurants that we have never been to! Those include:

Teppan Edo (Japanese Hibachi Style in Epcot)
Ohana (Polynesian Resort)
California Grill (Contemporary)
Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)

I am SO excited about our new foodie adventures that lay ahead of us on this trip! You better believe I will be reporting back to let y’all know which ones were keepers and which ones we will leave for the other Disney guests to enjoy. I may even have a few surprise food eats up my sleeve for this trip, so you’ll have to stay tuned. If I say it on here I may ruin my husband’s surprises! I always like to have some tricks up my sleeve.

We Love Disney {Planning Your Trip}

WeLoveDisney

We love Disney. Yep, we are THAT family. In fact, I was tickled to death last week when my husband on a whim said “let’s go back to Disney” which was quickly followed by me thinking to myself, don’t ask questions just start planning before he comes back to his mind. So I did! But what you guys want to know is what is the first thing ESM does in her Disney planning  adventure. You want me to be honest? CALL MY TRAVEL AGENT

Why would you not use a travel agent when planning Disney, y’all? It is 100% FREE!

$FREE.99!
FIVE FINGER DISCOUNT!
ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU!

Why do I use a travel agent:

  1. Best Price- She pulls different resorts, dates, & options for me that would take me HOURS to do, plus she knows what dates are best when booking. Like if you travel Sunday-Friday it is much cheaper than Wednesday-Sunday. Without researching or knowing from experience, travel agents are the ones that know this. Don’t like your travel agent? Hang in there, I am almost there…
  2. Dining Reservations- There are many reasons we go to Disney, but eating is definitely in my top 5. I pack my “Joey from Friends” pants, you know the ones that stretch, because we eat and eat and eat. And it is good food! I’ll share my favorite restaurant picks with y’all in this series. You don’t want to miss that post if you are a foodie, because we are!
  3. Park Days- Travel agents have a special program, atop what you find online, that is an exact measure of what the park population is expected to be each day while you are there. Now there are charts that you could use online to help, but it isn’t as savvy as the one the travel agents have. A friend of mine who was a travel agent shared this with me and showed it to me, WOWZERS! Super cool! Now I trust my travel agent to plan my days because they just know you guys!
  4. Expertise- Do you trust a traffic light to tell you when to go or do you decide when to drive yourself without looking at the light? Well, some of you can’t drive so you don’t count but MOST of us use the traffic signals. They are free to use plus it is the expert, if you follow the traffic lights and signs you will have a successful trip, no wrecks or wrong turns. My travel agent is my traffic light & signs. She is free to use and makes my trip the most successful it could ever be! I am no Disney travel expert when it comes to dates, times, places, reservations, etc. I would rather focus on tips, tricks, discounts, and having fun with my family around the park than the hotel reservations!
  5. ABOUT 1,000 OTHER REASONS YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU USE MY TRAVEL AGENT

You may have tried a travel agent before and had a bad experience or you may have never tried one, so for kicks and giggles next Disney trip you plan use Glass Slipper Concierge. They have planned my last 4 trips to Disney and I have never had one hiccup, speed bump, or roadblock. We have had the best trip each time and enjoyed our vacation so much.

Our Journey into Young Living Oils {Day 3}

{Where we left off}

Whew! It feels like forever since I typed day 2, and it was only 1 day ago! This Summer is a busy one for our family to say the least. God has blessed us with tremendous life changes over the past month. My husband was afforded the option to become a part-time stay at home dad & a part-time help for me with our business. When he did this, he left his full-time job in public service which is the biggest blessing of all! Now, he spends all of his time with us. No more being called out of family functions or missing out on the kids “big moments”. We are all together as a family and able to enjoy running our family business while being home with the kids together. And very busy.

MEANWHILE back to our oils….

I promised to give you some of our insider trading secrets to Young Living essential oils. When I started looking at purchasing the oils, I will be honest: I did not purchase the premium starter kit. I started with buying an individual oil (Lavender to be exact) and I regretted it. Bad. Not because there was anything wrong with the oil but because I wanted that dang diffuser so.bad.I.could.taste.it!

I had heard amazing stories of the diffuser. It promised a better night’s sleep, wonderful aromas of oils, combining oils to kill germs & fight off viruses, and many more benefits! I had to have this diffuser, y’all! So Valentine’s Day rolled around. My sweet, incredible husband fought the masses at Bell Air Mall in Mobile and went to Dillards to buy me, not a diffuser, a Clarisonic. You see, I had raved over wanting one for months and months and he knew just what to get me for Valentine’s Day! So you can only imagine his surprise when I opened my beautifully wrapped facial cleanser during our romantic candlelight dinner at home that night in February and I said “Oh honey I love it! But, I think I would rather return it and buy the premium starter kit for Young Living Oils!”. There was a lot of conversation on how he didn’t want me to waist my Valentine’s Day gift on oils that the whole family would use, and not just something for me. Yadda Yadda. But he gave up. Knowing me, and how I hate to spend that much money on anything, he understood I was going to pick one or the other. And I picked the oils & that amazing diffuser!

So I called my girlfriend Sara, who ironically I met at a coupon class I taught several years ago, and had her rush ship me the Young Living starter kit. $186 and some change with the express 2 day shipping. Clarisonic was happily returned to Dillard’s the next day. Best decision I ever made!

You can find all the instructions for ordering here in the notes section of ESM on Facebook. You will see all the items that you get in the starter kit in the picture above. Wowzers it’s a lot of goodness! $300 worth of goodness to be exact. For $150. Then you get a FREE $30 gift card! So it’s like you are getting $300 worth of stuff for $120!

I hope you enjoy this discount! It’s my gift to you to get your family started in this “Oil Thang” that you won’t ever regret trying. It is the best blessing from God for our family!

Stay tuned for Day 4, as I open up my oil collection for you & tell you the good, the bad, & the ugly. Plus I share my first “oil pulling” experience with you! Things could get interesting…

Our Journey into Young Living Essential Oils {Day 2}

{The Diagnosis}

Doctor-Cartoon

So when I left you guys yesterday, I was at the part of our story where I had received a diagnosis from my doctor. That diagnosis was that I have Meniere’s Disease. For those that have never heard of this, Google it. There are too many symptoms to list but the most important thing I heard when the specialist was explaining this to my husband and I was “there is no cure”. Meaning for the rest of my life I will suffer from the debilitating condition. Hearing loss, drop attacks, and severe vertigo are only a few of the common symptoms that I suffer from, and none of those fit into my lifestyle. I am a very busy mother of 4 who loves to go-go-go! The “no cure” diagnosis was not something I was ready to deal with.

So I started researching in my oils, and there were lots of different ones that helped with these symptoms. It has been a journey trying each one for a few days and learning which ones help me the most. The most recent one I have been trying is called Copaiba Oil, which is applied to you “neat” behind the ears & on the back of the neck. Just a few days into this one and I already see a difference in the way my body feels soon after I apply.

Progessence Plus
Girls- this one is awesome. It has a million different benefits ranging from helping with symptoms of PMS or Fibromialgia to even helping with trying to conceive! I am posting a PDF about this oil and it’s benefits on our Facebook Page, so go and read more. You won’t regret it!

Lavender
Lavender oil helps with everything. From scars to rashes to allergies to boo-boo’s to helping you sleep, we use Lavender for everything! Plus I love to add 2-3 drops in a hot bath, grab a magazine, and just relax. The smell of Lavender is enough to make every muscle on your body sigh in relief. Trust me, Lavender will be your “go to” oil too.

Lemon
Lemon oil is one we love to use as a flavor additive in our water. Lemon EO is actually a weight loss helper, too! Not only drinking it, Lemon oil is great to use while cleaning, it degreases & gets stuck-on-stuff off great!

Peace & Calming
It is what it says, our peace & calming. I diffuse this or apply it neat to the bottoms of the kids’ feet, 5 minutes later they are calmed down and ready for bed. With 3 boys, this sucker is a miracle worker! I love to diffuse P&C with Lavender oil before bedtime for us too, it makes for such an incredible night’s sleep.

Purification
Oooooo how I love this stuff! I diffuse it while I clean to rid the air of the toxins from cleaning or any dust that I have brushed up from vacuuming. I also apply this neat to our throats when they start feeling scratchy or on a blemish that looks like it’s about to surface. It’s a must-have oil for us!

Thieves
We are germ-a-PHOBES! So Thieves is definitely always on my person. You can use Thieves to help disinfect while cleaning neat or diffuse it. Any time it sounds like their is a sickness in the air, I break out the Thieves and diffuser, just ask my family. It smells HEAVENLY. Like cinnamon apple. Yum! That plus all of it’s benefits make it one of YL’s best selling oils. You can add a drop to toothpaste to whiten teeth, or they even make a Thieves toothpaste! Thieves has a whole product line to it like cleaners, soap, toothpaste, all sorts of stuff!

So those are our favorite oils, you’ll want to stay tuned to tomorrow because I am going to give you all my “insider trading” secrets to Young Living Essential Oils!

Our “Crunchy” Journey into Young Living Essential Oils

{Confession Time}

Woman-looking-shocked-at-a-computer-Shutterstock

Used to, my nights were filled with surfing the internet to find the freebies I could snag or coupons I was needing to print. Now, I usually spend a few minutes each day researching healthier options for my family.

Yep. I’ve become “that girl”. The girl I used to make fun of. That girl that buys organic, and tells her kids to dangers of eating processed food. That girl that doesn’t let her kids drink fun-colored drinks because of fear of the dye. I am THAT GIRL. Let’s get this straight though I am still very much a Chic Fil A loving, CocaCola addicted, TV watching, & chocolate eating normal person. Just a lot more conscious of what I am letting my family be exposed to then I used to be.

{The Start of it All}

It all started about a year ago, when a friend at work was telling me of her experience with Essential Oils. So after our conversation about how they were doing incredible things for her family, I took to the local health foods store. HOLY MOLY THOSE THINGS WERE EXPENSIVE! Not only were they expensive, but when I read more into it the oils I saw at the health foods store weren’t the ones that experts recommended to buy. It was the 100% organic, seed-to-seal Young Living essential oils that were recommended for the best results and those were even MORE money! So I started reading, and reading, and reading some more on articles like this one. I started praying, even involving Nick in my research and prayers about these oils. What we uncovered was a lot of articles like this one on where essential oils are mentioned in the bible! “How Cool!” we both said to one another, the more we read on this the more we knew this investment was the right one for our family.

So we started off with the premium starter kit (pictured above), the one that gave us more bang for our buck (naturally, at least I would be getting a good deal if I was forking out this seemingly large sum of money). Boy did I not know what I was getting myself into! Over the next few months of using the oils, God would move in our lives using these oils in a way I could never have imagined.

{Stay Tuned}

I will share more about our family’s journey with Young Living Essential Oils in day 2 of this series starting with the diagnosis I was given from my doctor…
